Sex and the City

This is a "Funfetti" cake with vanilla frosting which I dyed hot pink (definitely messes with the flavor :-/). I sprinkled each layer with sugar sprinkles for some sparkle.

I got a plastic toy shoe from the dollar store and then made a Manolo Blahnik label and glued it in. The Ring lights up and the the vodka, was of course, meant to go with some martini's/

The bottom tier is two layers, while the top in only one. I took a plastic pearl necklace to divide the tiers (NOT edible!).

I made this for my lil' sister Deborah. She is absolutely obsessed with SATC and I surprised her with it at her birthday party that she didn't know I was attending :)

Each number is a double layer sheet cake (totalling to 4 cakes) hand carved into each number...leaving a lot of scraps!! :-)

Getting into the grooves of this cake was a challenge while trying to decorate the sides.

Chocolate Sheet Cake with 3-D Gift

The gift made the weight of the cake a little uneven and had to be supported with toothpicks, but the overall look was pretty.
