Happy Anniversary to the Global Christian Network!
This was a 6-layer, 3-D, yellow globe kake with vanilla frosting. It was made for the Global Christian Network to celebrate their 5th anniversary. This kake was so tall and wide that it needed 3 wooden stakes to keep it secure from sliding and falling over.
I did my best to duplicate as many of the continents and countries that are on the globe- the ones I actually accomplished were North America, Central America, Africa, Europe, Asia, Australia and a few islands. This was much more challenging than I had originally anticipated.
Since the kake is 3-D, the design goes all the way around it. The kake is in a globe because the network's logo is the letters "GCN" and a globe. I wanted to represent it the network as closely as possible to the actual logo.
Louis Vuitton, Anyone?
This kake was made for one of my closest friends for her birthday. It is a 2-layer lemon kake with lemon frosting....and it was TO DIE FOR!
She loves designer purses and brand names. We always joke with her about being shallow and materialistic so I wanted to make her a kake that represented this corky side of her. The inspiration came from the white Louis Vuitton design with colorful logos. I had originally wanted to do the classic brown design, however when she said she wanted a lemon kake, I knew that chocolate frosting was not going to be a good match.
- Birthday Boobies -
This is a single-layer chocolate kake with chocolate
icing. The bra was designed with pink and white tube icing and pearl sprinkles. The straps of the bra were adorned with sugar diamonds that I received from a distributor who specializes in making them.

Who lives in a pineapple under the sea?
This is a single-layer vanilla kake with vanilla frosting made for my God-Daughter for her 2nd birthday. Spongebob's design was done free-hand using a printed image for reference. Both regular and glittler/sparkle tube icing were used in this design.
I must say, I'm going to pat myself on the back for this one. I don't know what I could have done to make it look anymore like spongebob than it already did. :-)
