Babies & Weddings!

Goin' to the Chapel...

These roses took hours! My hands were stained for days after dying the icing for these. I found that after I made them (the Wilton's Rose) if I put them in the freezer for just a few minutes it helped to keep their shape as I transferred them on to the kake.

The top tier. This was a french vanilla kake with vanilla icing.

The final product. I sprinkles sugar sprinkles on the bottom roses to give it a little sparkle. Each tier was two layers of cake. Bottom tier was 12" and the top tier was 8"

Baby Elise Addison Pinnock

Born January 27, 2010

This was for a baby shower for my friend Tiffany. Tiffany was expecting a little girl and wanted a rattle cake. One side was strawberry cake with pink strawberry icing and the other side was yellow cake with chocolate frosting (her two favorite flavors!)
